The secret of a great magician performance is:
- Practice. Every successful magician works very hard to practice their magic skills. Without practice you won't able to learn any magic or perform. Practice is a first priority.
- Be a good trickster. To become a magician means that you must good in tricking people. Magic doesn't have any thing to do with witchcraft, it is about selling a trick to your spectators so they have no idea how it is done. Everyone who wants to be a magician can learn it and perform it.
- Acting. Each magician is a good actor. The biggest secret in magic is misdirection. To be good in misdirection, you must good in acting. This doesn't mean you have to be actor but having acting skills is quite useful when you performing. Nobody wants to see a boring show. Perform magic like it is what you are meant to do in life.
- Never Do your Magic Tricks more than two times with the same person. This is based on my own experience. If you keep showing a spectator your magic tricks they will found out your secret just by watching. So don't do it more than two times. It will be very tempting as they keep begging you do the trick again and again. Try mixing it up and say you will show them the trick again, but instead, throw in another move or change up your patter. Make sure you have control of the performance, and don’t freeze up on a spectator who is haggling you to do the trick again.
